Time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time

well since my birthday is right around the corner, Drew was questioning me for ideas on gifts and since he knows I'm picky he decided to just take my shopping at Northpark Mall.

Ive had my eye on the Coach Legacy bag since I saw it online! But since I didn't wanna blow all my birthday money on ONE thing I decided to do what any girl in this situation would do...get the smaller bag and then spend the rest on makeup and shoes!! haha. This one is the large leather clutch bag in carnelian. The color is actual orangeish color but carnelian is much more fun to say! We don't go many fancy places for me to carry this bag but maybe it will motivate me to go more fancy places just so I can carry it. Otherwise, I'll be that super fancy girl carrying this awesome bag grocery shopping.

I also had my heart set on buying a Jessica Simpson purse originally ( yes I have a purse fetish ) but sadly in person her purses arn't that great. But, as luck would have it, her shoes are the other hand are definately worth it! I had no desire to buy any shoes on this trip but Drew suggested that I buy some to wear to my upcoming birthday dinner at Four Winds Steakhouse so he picked these. They will look great with my black dress and new clutch : )

Brighton also caught my eye because they have a huge store in Northpark! I already had the bracelet on the left and the charms! But they were having a special if you buy some charms get a bracelet free so that's what we did! I decided to get the purple cancer ribbon in honor of my Mom's leukemia and I also got the dice because it's suppose to up your chance for luck!!

Now if you know me at all you know that I am a makeup junkie!! I have wayy too much makeup and probably won't ever stop buying it because I love it and it makes me happy. I ended up buying NARS blush because apparently it's a cult favorite and I used it this morning and I love it- it's the perfect pinky peach. I also only use MAC eyeshadow and got these 3 colors because I didn't have any of them and they caught my eye at the store. ( I got two for free because I returned 6 of my empty eyeshadow containers and they have a recycle program. )

and last but certainly not least Bath and Body Works soap!! I love this soap because it's foam and because it's pretty much the best smelling soap ever made. Drew and I wash our hands an abnormal amount so this makes perfect sense for us!

Hope you liked reading and looking at what I got for my birthday from my sweet wonderful husband. He understands that buying things makes me happy but he also reminds me that we work hard for our money so we should spend it on things that we love!!
I hope to return the favor
